8 March 2026 • Cars Now Brunei
After all the speculation, it’s finally official. Hyundai is putting the N Vision 74 into production under the name ‘N74’. What started as a concept is now becoming a real car. The design still pulls heavily from the 1974 Pony Coupe, but everything underneath is modern. This isn’t just another EV either, it’s Hyundai showing what their N division can really do when they go all out.
Production will be extremely limited, with estimates pointing to just 100 to 200 units worldwide.
The N74 is built to be properly fast. It uses a rear-wheel-drive setup with dual electric motors, supported by a hydrogen fuel cell system that extends range and keeps performance consistent. The result is something that feels closer to a supercar than a tech demo.

Hyundai N74 Production Design with Parametric Pixel Lights
The best part is Hyundai didn’t water down the design. The sharp, wedge shape is still there, along with the pixel-style lighting. It doesn’t look like anything else on the road right now, which is rare. Inside, expect a mix of physical buttons and digital screens, modern, but not overcomplicated.

No question. Cars like this don’t come around often. It’s different, it’s fast, and it actually has character. The only real issue in Brunei would be hydrogen infrastructure, but even then, this is the kind of car you’d own just to experience something unique. If one ever shows up in Gadong, everyone’s stopping to look.
